I’ve been waiting for this day for two months. The day I’d get on the tractor and till the rows. The day the sun would shine, and more importantly, the soil would dry out enough to avoid a giant slalom in a two-ton vehicle.

Yes, when a person communes alone with nature, the wild, untamed kind, when they spend hours gazing at the seedlings they’re digging in the position of a focused Thinker, they also begin to dig into their own mind and unearth thoughts—some rational, some semi-rational, and some completely mind-blowing. Then they return to the city, completely relaxed.
